De Grote Kerk
The Grote Kerk was built from 1881 to 1883, after a design by Constantijn Muysken, to replace the much larger church in the same place that was burned down in 1878 after lightning.
The Great Church was closed for worship in 1968, and sold, to be converted into a building with a commercial function. In the church there is now a Foodmarket, a shop-in-shop concept and thirty-six residential apartments are located. The apartments are located between the roof and the ceiling of the church. The tower is owned by the civil municipality. The commemoration of the commemoration takes place annually at the church. For the church, on January 4, 1945, five men were executed.
The church is registered in the national monuments register under number 333542.
